# Join an existing workspace

### If you received a workspace invitation email

{% stepper %}
{% step %}
Click the **invitation link** in the email you have received
{% endstep %}

{% step %}
Sign in to your account (if you’re not already signed in), or [create a user account](https://help.hippoly.com/getting-started/pages/Kkbi0tMcjdxipkkOYi5r#id-1.-create-your-user-account) if you don’t have one yet.
{% endstep %}

{% step %}
When you’re signed in, you will be redirected to a page listing your workspace invitations. Click the `Accept` button to join the workspace.

{% hint style="info" %}
**If you don’t get redirected to the invitations page or don’t see the invitation**, it is usually because the invitation email was sent to an address that isn’t linked to your Hippoly user account. Check which email address the invitation was sent to and [add that address to your user account](/administration/user-account-settings/email-addresses.md#add-a-new-email-address).
{% endhint %}
{% endstep %}

{% step %}
When you have accepted the invitation, you will be redirected to the workspace and are ready to start collaborating with your colleagues.
{% endstep %}
{% endstepper %}

### I haven’t received an invitation email, but I want to join a workspace I know exists

Unfortunately, you can’t join an existing workspace without an invitation link. You’ll need to ask an administrator of that workspace to invite you.
