# Move file

Sometimes you may need to move a file from one folder to another. To do so, follow these steps

Navigate to `Files` in the main menu.&#x20;

Go to your file and click the `Menu-icon`  to the right of the file name.&#x20;

Select the `Move to` menu option.

Select the folder you want to move the file to in the dialog and click the `Move` button.
