Discard draft changes
If the changes you made while working on a new version of a shared document are not needed — for example, you were just testing something out, or a different approach is needed — you can discard them. The document reverts to the last published version and the draft changes are removed.
Discarding draft changes is permanent. All edits made in the current draft in progress will be deleted and can't be recovered.
1
Open the document with the new version in progress.
2
Open the actions menu in the editor and click Discard changes.
3
Confirm the action in the dialog. The draft changes are removed and the document reverts to the currently published version. The collaborator list for the draft is also cleared.
